Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GOUKAKU by J&T (the "Service") — which includes GOUKAKU JLPT and GOUKAKU NAT-TEST, exam-preparation platforms operated by J&T Japanese Language Training Center ("J&T," "we," "us") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Additional GOUKAKU products may be added in the future and will be governed by these same Terms unless explicitly amended.

2. No Affiliation with Exam Administrators

GOUKAKU by J&T is an independent study platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Japan Foundation, the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES), Senmon Kyouiku Publishing Co., Ltd., or any official administrator of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or the Japanese Language NAT-TEST. "JLPT", "NAT-TEST" and their related level designations (N5–N1 and 5Q–1Q) are used descriptively to identify the examinations our materials help you prepare for.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide (name, email, phone number) is accurate and current, and that you are responsible for keeping it up to date.

4. Use of the Service

The Service provides JLPT and NAT-TEST practice questions, explanations, and analytics for personal, non-commercial study. You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others;
• Copy, reproduce, redistribute, republish, or resell question content, explanations, or any part of the Service without our prior written permission;
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, harvest, or extract content from the Service;
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, access controls, or other security measures;
• Capture, record, or screenshot question content for distribution.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All practice questions, explanations, reading passages, taxonomies, and platform design are original works created and owned by J&T Japanese Language Training Center, protected under applicable copyright law. We do not reproduce, display, or distribute the proprietary content of any third-party publisher or examining body.

Our materials are developed in-house using modern authoring tools, including AI-assisted production methods, and are reviewed for quality before being made available to learners. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access this content for your own study. No other rights are granted.

Each question and its accompanying materials are proprietary and individually traceable. To protect our content, the materials we serve may include invisible identifiers and integrity measures, and usage is monitored. Copying, reproducing, redistributing, publishing, reselling, or otherwise sharing the content — in whole or in part, by any means — beyond your personal, permitted use is strictly prohibited, and may result in suspension of your account and further legal action.

6. Payments, Refunds, and Transfers

Premium packages are paid via KBZPay, WavePay, AYA Pay or UAB Pay. Payment is verified manually by our team — please allow up to 24 hours for full activation. Provisional access may be granted earlier at our discretion.

All payments are final and non-refundable. Once premium access has been activated, we do not offer refunds, in whole or in part, including for any unused portion of your access period — except where required by applicable law.

Packages are per-exam and per-level, and are non-transferable. A package cannot be changed, transferred, or converted to a different examination, a different level, or a different account during an active access period. You may choose a different examination or level when you buy your next package.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in fraudulent payments — without refund where fraud or material breach is involved. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any JLPT or NAT-TEST examination; study outcomes depend on your own effort. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, J&T shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Myanmar.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
