Yes — you can start practising for free. Free accounts get a set number of practice questions each day. Premium unlocks the full question pool, removes the daily limit, and gives you full access to explanations and analytics.

No. Every question on GOUKAKU JLPT is an original work, written and reviewed by our team. We design each question to fit the format and difficulty level of the JLPT, but we do not copy, adapt, or reproduce questions, reading passages, or any other material from official JLPT exams or from any third-party publisher. All content is our own.

Our questions, explanations, and reading passages are created and curated in-house by our team, and reviewed for quality and accuracy before they reach you — original material built to help you practise effectively at your level.

For N5 and N4, explanations are written in Myanmar so beginners can follow easily. For N3 to N1, explanations are in simple Japanese, pitched at an N4 reading level to build your exam-language confidence.

Pay through KBZPay or WavePay, then upload your payment slip screenshot in the app. Our team verifies it manually.

Please allow up to 24 hours for full activation after you upload your slip. We often activate sooner, and may grant provisional access while we confirm.

Reply with a clearer screenshot that shows the transaction reference clearly. Our team will re-review within 12 hours.

Yes — premium is a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime, and we remind you before each renewal. Many students cancel once they've passed their exam.

Because we keep prices low and your subscription unlocks the full question pool the moment it's active, premium payments aren't refundable. You're never locked in, though — you can cancel anytime, so you never pay for time you won't use, and the free tier lets you try GOUKAKU JLPT fully (10 questions a day, every level) before you upgrade. If you were ever charged by mistake or your premium didn't activate, contact us and we'll make it right.

Each package is tied to a specific JLPT level and cannot be switched or transferred during an active subscription period. When your current subscription ends — or when you purchase a new one — you're welcome to choose a different level.

You need an internet connection to load and submit questions, since content and your progress are delivered securely from our servers.

Android and Web are available at launch. The iOS version follows shortly after. Until then, iPhone users can use GOUKAKU JLPT through the web app.

We can't guarantee a pass — your result depends on your own preparation and effort. What we give you is consistent, well-structured practice and clear explanations to help you study smarter.

You can request account deletion any time via the Contact page. We remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep certain records for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.

Yes — contact us through the Contact page and we'll send your quiz history as a CSV file.

Your data is stored with row-level security so no other user can see it, and your payment slips are reviewed only by our team — never sent to any AI service. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
